The Admissions Counselor performs risk assessments and crisis interventions for potential patients via phone and in person. They coordinate the intake process, determine the appropriate level of care, and maintain communication with families and referral sources.
A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required, while a Master's degree is preferred. Experience with intake and crisis intervention for substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations is preferred.
