Pathlink is seeking a Board Certified Cytopathologist for a full-time position in Vineland, NJ and Mullica Hill, NJ
Full Time 40 hours per week.
Ideal candidate will have experience with All specimen types – Hematopathology & Cytopathology with some general Surgical Pathology Surgical Specimen experience
The Cytopathologist plays a critical role in the diagnosis and management of diseases at the cellular level by examining samples obtained through various minimally invasive procedures.
This position involves the detailed microscopic evaluation of cells from body fluids, fine needle aspirations, and exfoliative cytology to detect malignancies, infections, and other pathological conditions.
The Cytopathologist collaborates closely with clinical teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information that directly influences patient treatment plans.
Additionally, the role includes overseeing laboratory operations related to cytopathology, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Ultimately, the Cytopathologist contributes to advancing patient care through expert interpretation of cytological specimens and participation in multidisciplinary case discussions.
Monday - Friday 8am-4pm 40 hrs per week
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with residency in pathology and a subspecialty fellowship in cytopathology. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology and a valid New Jersey medical license are required.
