Evaluates and diagnoses health plan members in primary care with mental or behavioral disorders affecting their medical conditions. Develops and implements treatment plans using health psychology principles and collaborates with physicians on nonpharmacologic interventions.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field. Must hold a valid California license as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT and possess a National Provider Identifier.
In a Consultant-Liaison role, evaluates and diagnosis Health Plan members seen in primary care who have mental disorders or behavioral conditions that affect or are a consequence of their medical condition.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting.
