Per Diem LPN

As a Per Diem LPN at Strong Children Wellness, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and being an essential member of our clinical team. You will work under the direction of a Physician or Nurse Practitioner to deliver general nursing care to patients and support a seamless healthcare experience. This role is as needed for coverage. What You'll Do

• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with day-to-day office operations and patient care.
• Provide excellent care to all patients and demonstrate courtesy during patient interactions.
• Ensure that pre-visit planning is completed and help identify gaps in care.
• Accept and manage patient assignments and assist in patient examinations.
• Administer specified immunizations and medications as ordered by the provider.
• Perform blood draws on adult and/or pediatric patients as needed Observe patients and promptly report adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Document all services performed accurately for billing purposes.
• Schedule tests or treatments at other facilities and forward medical information as needed.
• Participate in team huddles and actively share knowledge and ideas.
• Communicate frequently with providers about patients' physical and mental conditions.
• Perform routine laboratory test procedures following established guidelines.

What You'll Bring

Education

High school diploma or GED; One-year LPN certificate from an accredited college or technical school.

License

NYS LPN license.

Experience

Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients.

Skills
