Administer cancer treatments using ionizing radiation according to prescriptions from Radiation Oncologists. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and policies.
Must be a graduate of a CAHEA radiologic program or equivalent with a valid New Mexico Radiation Therapy License. Requires one year of related experience and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Provides health care services using ionizing radiation to administer treatment of cancer in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and quality control procedures. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Graduate of the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) radiologic program or equivalent. Knowledge of a variety of software applicant programs; Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures. One (1) year of related experience. NM Radiation Therapy Licensed. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
