The pharmacy technician provides essential assistance to the pharmacist within the inpatient pharmacy team. The role focuses on supporting pharmacy services to ensure quality patient care and efficient, fiscally responsible operations.
Candidates must be high school graduates or equivalent and be willing to become a registered pharmacy technician with the PA State Board of Pharmacy. Completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances is required within 90 days of employment.
As part of the patient care team, the pharmacy technician provides assistance to the pharmacist. This position requires a commitment to continually support pharmacy services in order to provide quality care and efficient operations while considering fiscal responsibility.
High School graduate or equivalent. A commensurate combination of education/experience will be considered.
Willingness to be become a registered pharmacy technician with the PA State Board of Pharmacy or is currently registered by June 26, 2026
Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.
Graduate of a certified Pharmacy Technician’s training program and one (1) year experience in Hospital Pharmacy Setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
