The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT scans and ensures image quality while providing compassionate direct patient care. Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering contrast agents, and assisting radiologists with biopsies and drainage procedures.
Requires BLS certification and ARRT registration, with a preference for an associate degree and one year of experience. Advanced modality registration in CT is preferred or must be obtained within two years.
