UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers—delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists. We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations. Providers work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.). Urgent care is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers a broad spectrum of patient presentations, ranging from acute illness to minor injuries.
At the start of employment, we provide side-by-side clinical training shifts to ensure new providers develop the hands-on procedural skills, core clinical knowledge, and EHR proficiency needed for success. Ongoing support is available at all times, with APP and physician leadership accessible by phone during all operating hours, ensuring providers are never without guidance when needed.
