The RN is responsible for sedating and monitoring patients during interventional radiology procedures while assisting physicians and radiology technicians. They utilize the nursing process to provide professional, patient-family centered care from assessment through discharge.
Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, a Michigan RN license, and BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years, and ACLS certification is required within 6 months.
