The nurse assesses and documents the care of hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant patients, including those who are hemodynamically compromised. Responsibilities include managing complex IV therapies, life-supporting modalities, and directing patient care technicians.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of acute care or stem cell experience and be licensed in the state of Illinois. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS, OCN, and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certifications required within specific timeframes after hire.
