Assists physicians and nursing staff with direct patient care and clinical tasks. Manages appointment scheduling, patient charts, and utilizes electronic systems for documentation.
Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and a valid MA certification. Must be CPR certified and demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture.
Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties. Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
