• PRIMARY
• RESPONSIBILITIES: Complex operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment Position patients for CT using patient positioning devices and PPE Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration Proficient in IV placement Coordinate scheduling and patient flow Assist with ACR accreditation Maintain strict confidentiality
• Follow organizational policies and procedures
• REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or
• GED
• Graduate from an accredited
• Radiology
• Technology program
• EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in CT scan applications.
• Certificates,
• Licenses,
• REGISTRATIONS: License with the Tennessee State Department of Health as an X-Ray Operator. Certificate received from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART). Advanced certification in CT preferred. If not registered, CT Registration through ARRT required within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
