The Medical Assistant provides clinical care by preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers during treatments and procedures. Responsibilities include recording medical histories, documenting vital signs, and maintaining sterile examination rooms.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and are preferred to be a Certified Medical Assistant or graduate of an accredited MA program. Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to perform phlebotomy and injections are required.
