The Physical Therapist is responsible for the examination, evaluation, and treatment of patients with physical impairments to achieve optimal functional outcomes. Key duties include developing individualized treatment plans, providing patient education, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in physical therapy and a current Florida state license. Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification is also required.
Works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapist role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.
