Provide compassionate patient care, including triage, hospitalization, and ICU support within a 24-hour emergency and specialty service. Assist surgeons with surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostic testing.
Requires experience as a veterinary technician in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Scheduling: Full time, (4) ten hour shifts
As an experienced Veterinary Assistant, we want you to use your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Compassionate patient care Patient assessment and triage Client education and care Hospitalization/ICU care Anesthesia induction and monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Radiology Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing Venipuncture, catheterization Pharmacy Medical record keeping We are seeking veterinary technicians with experience in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice. Flexible schedule will include some weekends and holidays. Pay is competitive, based on level of skill, experience, relevant education and credentials.
