The PTA treats patients as directed by a physical therapist and maintains accurate medical records of all treatments. They collaborate with the rehab director and interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress and participate in facility training.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold a current license in the practicing state. Strong professional communication skills and the ability to relate positively to patients and staff are required.
