Performs and assists with CT scanning procedures under the direction of a radiologist to provide quality diagnostic imaging. Manages patient interaction, ensures accurate documentation in electronic medical records, and maintains a safe clinical environment across multiple sites.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and at least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist. Must hold ARRT registration and BLS certification, with ARRT (CT) certification preferred.

Performs and assists with exams and procedures in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning under the direction of the radiologist, providing timely and quality services to patients. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient, and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Provides care and diagnostic services to patients across multiple sites. Principle Responsibilities Completes exams and procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines Identifies patient with two identifiers. Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure. Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs. Maintains safe patient environment. Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment. Maintains work knowledge and competence. Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images. Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to imaging storage and retrieval system. Provides accurate clerical function Uses Excellian (electronic medical record). Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System. Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure. Communicates with leader and team Reports problems, issues and ideas. Provides assistance, ideas, information to support the work of others. Required Qualifications Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technology 2 years experience working as a CT Technologist Preferred Qualifications 4 years experience with two or more equipment manufacturers (Siemens, GE and Canon) Licenses/Certifications Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required ARRT (CT)-CT certification with ARRT preferred BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Allina In-house BLS training required by completion of orientation or within 90 days of hire, whichever comes first Physical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Flat Rate: $54.00 per hour *This position is paid on a standard non-negotiable hourly rate. Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
