Perform radiographic and CT procedures for various patient demographics under the direction of a Radiologist. Assist with special procedures including biopsies, injections, and angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest.

Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to join their team in a PRN (various shifts) position. Must be available to work any shift, including nightshifts, when needed.
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Radiographic technology program and registered with the ARRT. One year of experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
