Certified Nurse Aides will provide high-quality in-home care to Veterans, assisting them with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence according to VA standards and care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, maintaining a safe environment, and notifying supervisors of any patient issues.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with an active Nursing Assistant Certification in Virginia, and current CPR certification with a baseline TB skin test. A valid Virginia driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, a compassionate nature, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are also mandatory requirements.
