The Registered Nurse provides nursing care for an assigned group of patients by matching patient needs with their competencies, operating under minimal supervision. The role also requires completing established competencies within the designated introductory period and performing other related assigned duties.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current Texas State License for Registered Nurse. Preferred education is a Bachelor's Degree, and preferred experience includes two years in acute care, specifically in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU.
Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse’ competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
