The LPN/GPN provides direct patient care and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team under the supervision of an RN. They are responsible for observing, recording, and contributing information to develop patient care plans based on specific health needs.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program with a current Pennsylvania LPN license and BLS certification. Completion of an IV start class is required, and one year of medical surgical experience is preferred.
Job Summary The LPN/GPN administers direct patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a GN/RN. Works collaboratively with all members of the patient interdisciplinary care team. Participates in the care and teaching of the patient. The LPN/GPN observes, evaluates, records, and contributes information to aid the RN/GN in developing the patient plan of care based on age-specific criteria and current patient health care needs.
