The Patient Care Technician performs duties as a Unit Secretary, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Room Technician. They operate under the direction of the Charge Nurse or Clinical Manager to support ER operations.

The Patient Care Technician is competent to perform both as a Unit Secretary, Certified Nursing Assistant or Emergency Room Technician. The Patient Care Technician is flexible and may be assigned as a unit secretary, certified nursing assistant, or in a dual position where both skills are utilized simultaneously. The Patient Care Technician performs these duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager.
Position requires one (1) of the following licenses: Emergency Medical Technician or California Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant or National Registry EMT or Paramedic
Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field
CPR American Heart Association
