Direct medical treatment for members within a youth Crisis Stabilization Unit. Participate in program leadership to ensure quality medical practices that meet licensure and payer standards.
Must possess a medical degree from an AMA or AOA accredited school and have successfully completed a psychiatry residency. An active DEA license in good standing is required.

You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
Psychiatrist - Part-time, up to 12 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9am-1pm, can be flexible on times)
Compensation -
Independent Contractor wage range - $201- $252 / Hour
Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

Alameda County Youth CSU is a Crisis Stabilization Unit serving youth populations within Alameda County. These programs provide screening/triage, medication support and brief treatment in a safe, protective setting. These programs are sometimes co-located with acute inpatient programs, allowing for a 'warm hand-off' transfer when needed. The typical length of stay is up to 24 hours.
