Opus Pathology is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pathologist with outstanding diagnostic skills to serve the pathology needs of a community hospital system. This is a hospital-based position at our hospital facility in Western Kentucky. Opus Pathology is a physician owned practice in the middle Tennessee area with a large outreach including numerous hospitals, physician practices and surgery centers.
Provide high-quality diagnostic services in surgical pathology and/or subspecialty areas (e.g., general surgical pathology, gynecologic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, etc.) commonly seen in community practice Integrate effectively with hospital clinical teams and laboratory staff Participate in tumor boards Serve as the clinical and anatomic laboratory medical director Frozen section analysis Be an ambassador for Opus Pathology while fulling supporting the needs of the hospital
MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Eligible for medical licensure in Kentucky Proven excellence in verbal and written communication At least 2 years of work experience post training is recommended
