Provide quality physical therapy care to residents and ensure accurate medical record documentation. Collaborate with nursing staff and facility leadership to promote positive relations and adhere to therapy policies.

O’Neill Healthcare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team!

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. 2. Possess a valid Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant license. 3. Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others. 4. Must be in good health, no lifting restrictions, neat and clean. 5. Must be willing and able to learn and possess above average management, organizational, and communication skills.

Job responsibilities

1. Ensure quality care to residents. 2. Provide direction and assistance to the Nursing Staff regarding Therapy policies and procedures. 3. Ensure accurate documentation on medical records. 4. Promote good relations between staff, residents and visitors. 5. Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents positively. 6. Assist as directed by Director of Nursing, Administrator, or Director of Rehab Services

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a valid Ohio license. Candidates should be in good health with no lifting restrictions and possess a positive attitude toward working with the elderly.
