The therapist plans and implements clinical counseling services for consumers and families through individual, group, and family therapy. Responsibilities include assessing consumer needs, maintaining treatment records, and coordinating discharge and aftercare plans.

Job Summary The Therapist plans, organizes and implements clinical counseling services to consumers and families. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness.
Plans for discharge and aftercare Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral Maintains treatment records Assesses and interprets data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group
A Master's Degree in a counseling field and at least one year of experience are required. Candidates must hold a New Jersey LAC/LSW license, though LPC/LCSW is preferred.
