About the role

The therapist will facilitate group therapy and conduct biopsychosocial assessments for adults and adolescents. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, coordinating care with families, and participating in a multidisciplinary treatment team.

  • In our Outpatient center, our dedicated, professionally licensed therapists facilitate group therapy focusing on a variety of mental health topics including recovery, relapse prevention and coping skills.
  • Our goal is to reduce the negative symptoms of mental illness and help stabilize individuals in order to live safe and productive lives.
  • This is a Full-time Outpatient Therapist position with a focus is on Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis treatment to Adult and Adolescents.
  • You will assume responsibility for all aspects of clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients in the Hampton Counseling Center, discharge planning as needed, participation as a member of multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • This position will be responsible for traditional outpatient therapy with our patients.
  • We require that you have a minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy.
  • Previous experience in clinical assessment, case management, discharge planning; strong writing and communication skills.

  • Must have a LPC or LCSW with 1+ year experience in a similar environment.

Requirements
