Full time Hospice Intake Coordinator

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for obtaining benefit information, initial authorizations, and patient liability before care begins. The role also involves scheduling clinical staff and managing documentation from physicians and referral sources.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in insurance verification, authorization, or medical billing. A thorough understanding of Medicare and familiarity with insurance websites like Availity is preferred.
