The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing patient nursing care needs and developing comprehensive care plans to achieve expected outcomes. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care standards are met while serving as a patient advocate.
Candidates must hold a nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) and a current Iowa nursing license. ACLS certification is required, and experience with EPIC and procedural settings is highly desired.
The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100%25 Staff Nurse in our IRL Procedure Suite. The Staff Nurse is charged with the responsibilities of assessing patients’ nursing care needs, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided, integrating nursing theory and research into clinical practices, and ensuring patient care standards are met. Apply nursing theory to assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate patient responses. Develop patient care plan based on observations and assessments and recommend interventions to attain expected outcomes. Collaborate and integrate information from patient and family into multidisciplinary patient care plan and evaluate responses. Evaluate the quality of nursing care provided by other staff members. Responsible and accountable for the provision of care for patients. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and serve as a patient advocate. Percent of Time: 100%25 Schedule: M-F 07:00 AM to 5:50 PM, with potential Saturdays, and late shifts Location: Iowa River Landing Rotations: lates and potential Saturday rotations.
