The ideal candidate is experienced in perioperative nursing, maintains a sterile environment, and delivers safe, high-quality patient care in the OR setting.
Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Key Requirements ✔Active New York State RN license ✔Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing ✔Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required ✔BLS certification required ✔ACLS preferred ✔Must be able to work rotating shifts and on-call schedule Experience & Skills ✔Recent Operating Room experience strongly preferred ✔Candidates without recent OR experience must complete and pass the ✔AORN Perioperative 101 Program (6 months) as a condition of employment ✔Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance ✔Experience with surgical instrumentation and OR equipment ✔Ability to recognize and respond to safety risks and patient needs ✔Basic understanding of lethal dysrhythmia interpretation ✔Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ready for your next travel assignment?
