As the only Level I Trauma Center north of Boston, the Joseph C. Corkery Emergency Center provides advanced emergency care to patients across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Our ED was thoughtfully designed to support efficient, patient centered care and features 36 private patient rooms, dedicated behavioral health spaces, advanced imaging capabilities, and four fully equipped trauma bays. What You’ll Do: You will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care while coordinating across the care continuum. Key responsibilities include: Clinical Care & Decision Making Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Develop culturally competent plans of care based on patient needs Provide age-appropriate and evidence-based nursing interventions Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans Patient & Family Engagement Build strong relationships with patients and families Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventative care Integrate cultural, spiritual, and personal preferences into care plans Leadership & Collaboration Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Support a positive, learning-focused clinical environment Act as a role model and resource for peers and team members Professional Practice & Growth A Apply evidence-based practice and clinical scholarship Maintain competency in technical and specialty nursing skills Participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness efforts Delegation & Supervision Safely delegate tasks in accordance with MA Nurse Practice Act (244 CMR 3.0) Maintain accountability for patient outcomes and delegated tasks​
