This role offers a dynamic blend of operating room support and outpatient clinical care, providing the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary oncology team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Surgical & Inpatient Care Provide first assist support in the operating room for gynecologic oncology surgical procedures Perform perioperative patient management, including pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care Conduct clinical surgical follow-ups for hospitalized patients to ensure optimal recovery outcomes Ambulatory / Outpatient Care Deliver comprehensive care in the clinic setting, including patient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up visits Support clinic flow and patient access through efficient patient management and coordination of care Ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings Team Collaboration & Leadership Actively participate in daily huddles, case reviews, and multidisciplinary tumor board discussions Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff and support personnel Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current PA-C certification required Active Illinois license or eligibility for licensure Prior experience in surgical oncology, gynecology, or operating room assisting preferred Why Join Advocate Health?
