• Description: Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) - Per Diem - Cornell Campus Join one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers, where excellence in patient care, research, education, and community service drives everything we do. At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, our Physician Assistants are essential partners in delivering world-class cardiothoracic care. Step into our high-acuity Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and take on a pivotal role in managing the continuity of care for some of the most critically ill and complex patients in the region. In this position, you will provide advanced care for patients recovering from intricate cardiothoracic surgeries, including heart transplants, and manage those supported by a variety of mechanical circulatory assist devices, such as ECMO, LVADs, and IABP/IMPELLA. Working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure seamless, high-quality care in one of the most dynamic ICU environments in the country.

Preferred Criteria

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, or transplant setting Demonstrated strong procedural skills and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment Required Criteria Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program NYS licensure NCCPA certification Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
