Practice for this role

About the role

Take over and grow the established veterinary dentistry service at a busy emergency and specialty hospital. Provide gold-standard dental care using state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with board-certified specialists.

Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center in Springfield, Oregon, is excited to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Dentist to take over our established dentistry service!

We are a busy, privately-owned partnership that is known for providing exceptional emergency and dentistry care in our community.

Our hospital is led by Partner and Medical Director, Dr.

Max Rinaldi, a dedicated leader with over a decade of experience at our practice.

Dr.

Rinaldi is passionate about fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment, making this a great opportunity for professionals who value strong mentorship and a healthy, thriving team culture.

Over the last 10 years we have had a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry serving the area and accepting referrals in veterinary dentistry at EVH but has now recently retired.

This is a great opportunity for someone to continue the growth of veterinary dental care at EVH.

At the Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center, we take pride in offering gold-standard care with state-of-the-art technology, including 64 slice CT.

Our facility features a dedicated dental operatory for dental procedures, a modern surgical suite, and a well-established equipped ICU with many years of experience collaborating with the dental service.

We work closely with Board-Certified specialists across multiple disciplines, and have an established relationship with a board-certified anesthesiologist, to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

Our clinic supports a positive work-life balance by offering a reasonable caseload and competitive employment packages.

Our compensation package includes competitive starting base salary, monthly production with no-negative accrual, as well as generous sign-on and relocation bonuses.

We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, health savings/flexible spending), life and disability insurance, 401K with company contribution, PTO, generous CE allowance with additional PTO allotted, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.

Located at the southern end of the lush Willamette Valley, Eugene is perfectly positioned for the modern adventurer.

A scenic drive east takes residents to the towering Cascade Mountains, west to the stunning Pacific Ocean coastline, or north to the bustling city of Portland.

Eugene is a small city with unlimited things to do; from hiking to kayaking to floating the river.

Downtown Eugene is the vibrant cultural hub of the region; the Oregon Bach Festival and Eugene Symphony call the Hult Center for the Performing Arts home.

Additionally, the area hosts a booming food and beverage industry with top-notch craft breweries and wineries.
