Coordinate and perform nursing care for patients across multiple specialized units, including Medical/Surgical and Step-Down. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and supervising fellow caregivers.
Will perform and coordinates nursing care to patients in multiple specialized nursing units as assigned on a daily basis according to standards.
May cover extended leaves of absence and/or excessive vacancies.
Opportunities may include the ability to work from 2 to 6 weeks on a unit then rotate to another unit.
Will work under the supervision of a Director and Associate Director.
May assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise individual patient care according to standards.
Will accept responsibility for direction of fellow caregivers in the implementation of plans of care.
May be required to work on multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Orthopedic, Oncology, Overflow, Behavioral Annex, Rapid Observation, and Step-Down.
Will provide exceptional service to all patients, visitors plus external and internal customers.
Will be adaptable and competent to an assignment on a Medical-Surgical and/or Step-Down Unit.
