  • Key responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
  • Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-Service education
  • In collaboration with the director of rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
  • Provide clinical supervision to therapy assistants as indicated
  • Follow all infection control procedures and obra resident rights guidelines
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
  • Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current or eligible physical therapist license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of a capte-Accredited physical therapy program
  • If foreign-Trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to u.s. Entry-Level pt education by an apta-Approved credentialing agency

Requirements

Must hold a current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. Requires graduation from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
