Experienced Medical Assistant

Description Experienced Medical Assistant needed for fast-paced urgent care facility that is open 7 days a week with extended hours. Position opening for full-time. MUST be available to work weekends and evenings. Benefits available for Full Time: Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Bonus, Optional Vision, Dental and IRA

• Basic Description but not limited to
• Triage patient phone calls
• Basic patient triage, i.e. vitals, pt history & medication review
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Able to perform blood draws
• Administer immunizations and medication injections
• Maintain excellence in attendance and punctuality
• Documenting patient data into EMR in a fast and timely manner
• Perform EKG's
• Perform all duties assigned by providers and supervisor
• Assisting with office procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years clinical experience
• Professional appearance and attire at all times
• Must have positive attitude and great personality
• Experience in taking patient vital signs and patient history
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Must be CPR certified
• High attention to detail
