Responsibilities

• Collect and document relevant data pertinent to patient health and infusion needs.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues; develop and implement an evidence-based plan.
• Administer infusion therapies, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as needed to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery with the healthcare team; provide information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transition post-infusion.
• Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team; delegate tasks appropriately and support ongoing education.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) required.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS-BLS/RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• BLS/HS-BLS/RQI BLS facility-specific certification required.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital infusion setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to provide patient and family education.
