The LPN delivers efficient nursing care, administers medications, and performs treatments under the direction of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for evaluating patient conditions, contributing to care plans, and supervising unlicensed staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved practical or vocational nursing school and hold a current or pending LPN license from the State Board of Nursing. Current BLS/CPR certification is required for those employed at skilled nursing centers.
