Evaluates and treats patient populations for physical therapy needs through initial and ongoing assessments. Designs and implements appropriate plans of care while supervising support personnel and educating patients and families.
Requires a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and a valid State of Florida Physical Therapist license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is also required.
Pembroke Pines, Florida Memorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

Provides information regarding appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support resources.
