Administers ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform highly specialized radiographic procedures in the electrophysiology lab. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to treat patients requiring diagnostic studies, ablations, and device implants.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited radiography program, and ARRT-R and Arizona CRT certifications. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with specific cardiac or vascular intervention certifications required within two years of hire.
Administers ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patients age-specific needs is required.
