Schedule: Wednesday–Friday | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Three 12-hour overnight shifts

In your day-To-Day, you will
Triage incoming emergency patients and prioritize care based on medical urgency.
Partner with veterinarians to perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures.
Place and maintain intravenous catheters and administer medications and IV fluid therapy.
Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, including radiography.
Administer, monitor, and recover patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia.
Monitor hospitalized emergency and ICU patients, recognizing and communicating changes in condition.
Calculate medication dosages, fluid rates, and treatment protocols accurately.
Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records.
Provide compassionate client communication and education throughout the patient's visit.
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
What you bring
Minimum of two years of veterinary technician experience in progressive general practice or one year in a specialty or emergency hospital.
Strong knowledge of emergency nursing, patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care.
Experience operating patient monitoring, laboratory, radiographic, and anesthetic equipment.
Excellent mathematical skills for calculating medication dosages, fluid rates, and treatment protocols.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional in a fast-paced emergency environment.
