About the role

Provide specialized medical oncology services within a multi-specialty veterinary emergency and referral hospital. Collaborate with a team of specialists and ER doctors to manage complex cases and participate in daily case rounds.

Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral is ready to welcome a Full time boarded, or residency trained Medical Oncologist to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

This is a hospital that places a high value on its employees.

The environment at BVER is very supportive and our focus is to develop and maintain a positive culture.

We strive for excellent medicine and excellent patient care.

We are privately owned and locally managed.

The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard.

Our ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, enjoys community outreach and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.

We provide referral and emergency services to much of Oregon.

Our specialties include 4 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 3 Neurologists, 1 Ophthalmologist, 1 Radiologist, 7 day a week imaging services, 3 Criticalists and a full team of ER doctors!

There is no general practice associated with the hospital, but we do have a 7 day a week Urgent Care Department.

We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning.

We have in-house education for doctors and technicians.

The support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well.

This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a growing, well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues.
