Perform therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services to maintain patient oxygenation and acid-base balance. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and RRT certification. Must hold a license or temporary permit from the MS State Board of Health.
The Respiratory Therapist (NonReg) performs both therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services necessary to improve and/or maintain an adequate oxygenation/acid-base balance. The Therapist will develop and collaborate patient care with healthcare staff and physicians. The Therapist will practice compliance with standard policies and procedures.
Respiratory Therapy Associate's Degree.
Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
One (1) Year of experience in all phases of respiratory care.
