Candidates must possess a valid LVN license and prior experience as an Admissions Coordinator. Proficiency with PCC software and strong communication skills are required.

Extract and review inquiries from various referral systems (EPIC, Allscripts, fax, etc.) Approve/ Deny referrals based on facility's admitting criteria timely. Coordinate with doctors, families, and hospital representatives to attract and admit suitable candidates. Establish and maintain a constant working relationship with all potential referral sources. Conduct pre-admission interviews with prospective residents/responsible parties and explain all facility services as needed. Work with multiple departments (i.e. Nursing, Social Services, Staffing, Housekeeping) to ensure a seamless admission into the facility. Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as applicable.
