Provides basic patient care and assistance with daily living tasks for psychiatric patients. Works under the direction of a registered nurse to meet the developmental and cultural needs of patients.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BCLS certification. Previous experience as a nursing assistant or a CNA certification is preferred.
SIGN ON/ RETENTION BONUS - Totaling $3,000 for Full-Time Patient Care Associates
Provides basic patient care for the psychiatric patient appropriate to the age, culture, and developmental needs of the patient and under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides assistance with daily living tasks as appropriate.
High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills. BCLS.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Previous nursing assistant experience on a medical/surgical or psychiatric unit. Computer skills. Certified nurse assistant.
