  • Shift: Day To provide Occupational Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting Develop, document, and implement appropriate treatment plans to promote the optimal outcomes for patients with a wide range of injuries and ages Participates in regularly scheduled patient care-team conferences to contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care with therapy goals, patient progress, and discharge recommendations. Coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team that includes but is not limited to: physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, etc. Demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic environment, with strong organizational and time management skills. A compassionate professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery

Requirements

Requires a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and a valid Mississippi state license. BLS certification is required, and while new graduates are welcome, experience in acute or inpatient settings is preferred.
