As an Operating Room Nurse, you would provide 1:1 care to our patients before, during, and after surgery at a time when they are most vulnerable.

You would work alongside our world-renowned Surgeons to scrub and circulate the many different cases we perform.

The types of surgeries we perform in the SurgiCenter include: General, GYN, Ophthalmology (cataracts & retina), ENT, Plastics, Ortho (sports medicine), Podiatry

Develop and Grow Your Career! Be one of the many MLH Nurses who pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees (BSN, MSN, MBA, PhD, DNP) by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement Program! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

Get Involved! Become engaged by joining department, hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program. You can also become a preceptor for our Perioperative Fellowship Program and new hires.

Position-Specific Benefits include

You are eligible for up to 200 hours of paid time off per year based on your Full or Part Time status. On-Call pay for OR nurses is $4.25/hr. We also offer a number of employee discounts to various activities, services, and vendors... And employee parking is always free!

Experience

At least one (1) year of recent Operating Room Nurse experience required.

Education

1. RN Diploma, ASN required. 2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact. 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Requirements

Requires at least one year of recent Operating Room Nurse experience and an RN Diploma or ASN. A valid PA RN license or multi-state compact license is mandatory, with a BSN and BLS certification preferred.
