About the role

Prepare and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures by operating advanced imaging equipment and monitoring patient vitals. Maintain sterile fields and provide clinical leadership during emergency responses such as STEMI and Stroke.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.

Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.

Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.

Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Maintains professional development and education for technical competency. $25,000 Sign on bonus available to eligible new hires and up to $24,000 in educational assistance for student loans!

Job Requirements Required Associates Of Science In Radiologic Technology or a related field, upon hire and Other Completion of an Accredited Program: The program must be accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)., upon hire Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with a KY Medical Radiographer license and ARRT registration. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.
