Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in cardiac device monitoring and healthcare settings. Must obtain IBHRE certification within 12 months and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
Position Title: Cardiac Device Specialist
Purpose & Scope: The Cardiac Device Specialist provides advanced patient and provider support within the VHC Health Physician Cardiology Service Line for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs), including implantable loop recorders, pacemakers, ICDs, and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices. This position is responsible for the interrogation, interpretation, and programming of all CIED types in both in-person and remote monitoring settings, as well as oversight of device clinic monitoring operations.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
